Still growing in the garden

Updated: Sep 11

It has started to feel like Autumn is on its way, but in the garden our tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes are still growing away. Unfortunately, the cauliflowers have been eaten by something and are now withered stems in the ground, but the sweetcorn is doing well.

Hopefully, we will have another couple of warm spells before it starts cooling. Soon we will be planting over wintering veg. One dilemma we face is whether to pack away the polytunnel or keep it up over winter. High winds in autumn/winter may force us to pack it away. In the meantime it is full of cucumber, herbs and tomatoes and has been in good use all year. Next week I'll be reviewing one of the ingredients I often use in my products - thanks for reading.
